What to check before choosing

Count team storage separately from each employee’s personal drive. Microsoft SharePoint tenant storage is not the same allowance as OneDrive. Google storage is pooled across supported services. Zoho and Dropbox use team allowances that change with active or purchased seats.
A version history is not an immutable archive or legal hold. Inspect retention licences, recovery windows, audit-event scope and whether a leaving employee’s documents remain owned by the business.
Starter editions can lack the controls in product-wide marketing. Google Starter has shared drives but not Standard’s advanced shared-drive restrictions or formal approvals; WorkDrive Team lacks Business custom fields, webhooks and administrative audit.
Compare a predictable annual budget, including minimum seats, storage, migration, AI usage, identity and governance add-ons. This packet does not treat an overseas reference price as a Philippine tax-inclusive quote.
Test an exit before adopting: download originals, document formats, hierarchy, ownership, versions, permissions, comments and logs. A ZIP of current files is not a complete repository backup.
